Very strong extra thickness shows on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, the star, the date, hair and queue details, the profile and the bust.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Die crack NW through upper right hair to rim at approximately 12 o’clock; die gouge from rim SW to upper left of E of LIBERTY.
  • Rev:  1945-D 5c WDDO-006 was paired with two different reverse dies.  Each one is an RPM.  Stage A:  The mint mark is listed as 1945-D 5c WRPM-018/RPM#5 (D/D West).  Stage B:  The mint mark is listed as 1945-D 5c WRPM-008/RPM#20 (D/D West).
