Description: Class II + V + VI, Distorted, Pivoted and Distended Hub Doubling     "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties
An extremely strong CCW spread from a pivot at 10 o’clock on an early hubbing shows on the right side of the building, FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO and UNITED STATES OF.  FIVE CENTS and UNITED STATES also show a Class II spread toward the center.  E PLURIBUS UNUM shows a Class VI spread toward the center.

  • Rev:  Short die gouge SW from lower left of mint mark; die scratch down right side of building through right arch; numerous die scratches between OF and AMERICA.
