Description: Class VI, Distended Hub Doubling
Nice Class VI extra thickness shows on LIBERTY, the star and the date.  A closer spread shows on IN GOD WE TRUST.

  • Rev:  Die scratch above and to left of long right window; die gouge above left arch.

1965 WDDR-001

Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling
A close spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, increasing from left to right.  A very close spread shows on AMERICA.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Nice diagonal die scratch in field below second T of TRUST and east of Jefferson's forehead; die crack from upper portion of E to R of LIBERTY.
  • Rev:  Short diagonal die gouge just right of center of E of E PLURIBUS UNUM; small die gouge (dot) between N and second U of UNUM just above their centers.
