Description: Class II + VI, Distorted and Distended Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties
This variety is a quintupled die. Five distinct images can be seen on the lower portion of I of IN. Strong extra thickness and some separation of images show on IN GOD WE TRUST where it decreases from left to right, Jeffersons profile and, to a lesser extent, on LIBERTY, the star, the date and Jeffersons queue.

This variety is actually a tripled die. An extremely strong spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM where the spread is constant. Strong doubling also shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO and both sides of the building. These spreads increase from left to right. Close tripling is seen on the lower portions of UNUM and UNITED.
