- Rev: Long die scratch below LO of MONTICELLO; slanted die scratches inside large semicircular window.

Close Class II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and FIVE CENTS, increasing from left to right.

- Obv: Die scratch between upper portion of D of GOD and W of WE; die gouge in field above Jefferson's head at 11:00.
- Rev: Die gouges between F of OF and A of AMERICA; strong die gouge to upper left of dome.

Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling
A close Class II spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right. It shows very nice on AMERICA. A close tripled spread shows on UNUM. A very close spread shows on CENTS and the second O of MONTICELLO.

- Rev: Die dot under E of MONTICELLO; circular die scratch around rim shows best under AMERICA; series of short slanted die gouges in both left and right arches; curving die gouge in center of C of CENTS.

A very strong Class II + Class VI spread toward the center shows on LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the star and the date.
