A close spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, FIVE CENTS, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and the right side of the building. Some extra thickness also shows on FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO, and the windows on the right side of the building.

- Rev: Die scratch ENE from upper right portion of R of PLURIBUS to rim over left side of second U; very short die gouge from center of left side of E in EPU; six diagonal die scratches above second O of MONTICELLO; curving die scratch (?) between lower portions of CE of CENTS.
