Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling
A nice spread toward the center shows on STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, ELLO of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building with spreads increasing from left to right. A very close spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Markers:
- Obv: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-023.
- Rev: Small die gouge below second O of MONTICELLO; short diagonal die gouge to lower left of small left semi-circular arch below dome.
