Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling
A nice spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, ELLO of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building increasing from left to right.  A close constant spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM.  

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Die crack across base of bust and over designer’s initials.
  • Rev:  Die gouge (dot) on upper half of first S of STATES; die gouge (dot) to right of center of long left window; die gouge (small dot) just above and to right of small left window.
