1968-S WDDO-005 Proof

Description: Class I, Rotated Hub Doubling
A strong CCW spread shows on LIBERTY, the star, the date, IN GOD WE TRUST and the designer’s initials.  The spread is slightly weaker than that on 1968-S Pr WDDO-001 and about the same as 1968-S Pr WDDO-003.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Short vertical die gouge near bottom front of collar; light diagonal die scratch near front center of collar; three short diagonal die scratches near top center of cheek just below cheekbone.
  • Rev:  Die gouge (dot) below small right window.
