Description: Class I, Rotated Hub Doubling          "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties
A strong CCW spread shows on LIBERTY, the star, the date, IN GOD WE TRUST and the designer’s initials.  Very similar to WDDO-002.  Note the difference in die cracks at the base of the busts.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Die crack on base of bust above designer’s initials; die crack running E-W near bottom edge of collar.
  • Rev:  Strong diagonal die scratch beneath M of UNUM.
