A strong spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM. A closer spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS and both sides of the building. All spreads are constant.

- Obv: Die gouge (dot) between L and I of LIBERTY.
- Rev: Two die gouges above first U of UNUM; die gouge below and between N and second U of UNUM.
