1964 WDDR-031 Proof

Description: Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub Doubling
A strong spread toward the center with close tripling shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO, the left side of the building and E PLURIBUS UNUM.  The spread is slightly CW on UNUM and AMERICA from a pivot near the rim at approximately 9 o’clock. 

Markers: 

  • Obv:  The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1964 Pr 5c WDDO-016.
  • Rev:  Short diagonal die gouge under RI of PLURIBUS.
