Description: Class V, Pivoted Hub Doubling     "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties
A strong CCW spread from a pivot at 10 o’clock shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, ELLO of MONTICELLO and E PLURIBUS UNUM.  The spread on E PLURIBUS UNUM is pulled toward the rim due to the pivot.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Small die gouge between I of IN and bottom of bust.
  • Rev:  Short vertical die gouge inside upper half of B of PLURIBUS.
