1963 WDDR-014 Proof

Description: Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub Doubling
A very nice spread toward the center that increases  from left to right shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, CELLO of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building.  A closer CCW spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and OF AMERICA from a pivot near the rim at approximately 8:30 o’clock.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Several small die dots under chin near collar.
  • Rev:  Die gouge (dot) between upper portions of L and U of PLURIBUS; die gouge (dot) below and left of E of MONTICELLO.
