Description: Class V, Pivoted Hub Doubling     "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties
A strong CW spread from a pivot near the rim at approximately 9 o’clock shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, the right side of the building, ELLO, CENTS and STATES OF AMERICA.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Short, vertical die gouge just left of upper portion of E of LIBERTY.
  • Rev:  Diagonal die gouge on rim under left side of R of AMERICA; vertical die scratch from rim between A and T of STATES.
