A very strong spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MO...LO of MONTICELLO, E PLURIBUS UNUM and both sides of the building, decreasing slightly from left to right.
Markers:
- Obv: Series of die scratches running diagonally from lower portion of 6 to under 2 of date; diagonal die scratch ESE on upper lip to just under nose.
- Rev: Die scratch connecting tops of M and O of MONTICELLO; die scratch from lower portion of E to L of MONTICELLO.
