Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling
A strong spread toward the center shows on LIBERTY, the star and the date.  The spread decreases from left to right.  A closer spread shows on IN GOD WE TRUST.

Markers: 

  • Obv:  Slanted die gouge above head at about 11:30 o’clock below rim.
  • Rev:  Vertical die gouge between T and E of UNITED; die gouge (dot) to lower right of building.
