Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties
A very strong constant spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE CENTS. Doubling also shows on MONTICELLO, the steps and both sides of the building, and slightly on E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Markers:
- Obv: Die gouge (dot) in depressed area to right of Jefferson's eye.
- Rev: Die scratch ESE from upper long left window; vertical die gouge just to upper left of long left window; horizontal die scratch at top of left arch; short die scratch SW from bottom of F of FIVE.
