- Obv: Stage A: Die dot on Jefferson's nose; short die gouge extending from bottom of I of IN. Stage B: Stage A markers still present.
- Rev: Stage A: Die gouge above first A of AMERICA; small die dot between N and T of CENTS. Stage B: Stage A markers still present; die chip inside lower portion of second S of PLURIBUS; die chip in lower right hand corner of left arch.
