An extremely close constant spread toward the center shows on IN GOD WE TRUST, the designer's initials, the star, the date, and LIBERTY.
Markers:
- Obv: Small die gouge (dot) to left of center of L of LIBERTY; short strong diagonal die gouge from under fold of front of Jefferson's coat.
- Rev: The reverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDR-022.
