- Obv: Strong die scratch from tip of Jefferson's chin toward R of TRUST; slanted die scratch below 9 of date.
- Rev: Three short slanted die scratches inside right arch; series of slanted die scratches below NTS of CENTS; series of die scratches below M of UNUM. Coin examined was LDS.
