A close spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, increasing slightly from left to right. A very close spread shows on CENTS and ELLO of MONTICELLO.

- Obv: Die gouge between I of IN and front of Jefferson's coat.
- Rev: Small die dot in lower left corner of long right window; die dot above M of MONTICELLO.
