1963 WDDR-145 Proof
Description: Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling
This variety was formerly listed as WDDR-170. It replaces the original
WDDR-145 listing which was delisted because it was a doubled working hub (See WWHR-001 below). Nice Class II doubling shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A closer spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and the right side of the building. Both spreads increase from left to right.
Markers:
- Obv: Die dot below T of LIBERTY.
- Rev: Two slanted die scratches to lower right of small left window; die gouge between E and P of E PLURIBUS.
