Class VIII (tilted hub doubling) shows as remnants of the second and third lowest branches on the left side of the target tree.  The doubling extends southeast into the field. 

Markers: 

• Obv: Small die dot on the lower part of Jefferson's chin near his collar.
• Rev: Small die dot above the "OY" of "joy;" two small die dots to the left of the target tree's trunk.

• Obv: Very short vertical die scratch on the upper portion of Jefferson's nostril.

Markers: 

• Obv: Three short die gouges at the rim in Jefferson's hair.
  
• Rev: Short curved die gouge near the rim below the "T" of CENT.

• Rev: Small die dot to the right of the smallest tree; short die gouge extending north beneath the "S" of PLURIBUS on the interior design of the mountain.
